Situation

Task apps are easy to start and hard to keep maintainable as the data and feature set grow.

Task

Build a productivity app with a clean, maintainable backend and a clear contract between the API and the database.

Action

I designed a Spring Boot backend around DTOs, so the API contract stays separate from the persistence model, backed by PostgreSQL, with a Vite + TypeScript front end for prioritizing and tracking tasks.
